Activated carbon air filter effectively remove odor and particulates from the air through physical filtration as well as chemical absorption. Used in conjunction with a centrifugal inline fan, fresh air can be obtained even in an environment where organic fertilizers are used. This filter is suitable for use in greenhouses, hospitals, lavatories, public buildings, food processing facilities, etc.

This new carbon air filter features removable flange and end cap. Through normal use, the portion of the filter closer to the flange gets dirty faster than the other end, resulting in less airflow. Instead of replacing the complete filter, one can swap the positions of the flange and end cap such that the cleaner portion of the filter body is now close to the flange, and continue to use the filter for an extended period of time.
